We currently have three 3.5 ton horseboxes for hire. 

They can carry anything from Shetlands up to Heavy horses. 

Whether you have your own lorry but it’s temporarily out of action, or you need to talk to us about a regular booking, or you just fancy a trip out but don’t have your own transport, give us a call for a friendly, efficient service.

The self-drive option is available for 23 to 75 years of age with a full UK driving license

The horsebox rental includes:

* Fully comp insurance cover

* Break down and equine rescue

If you wish to hire the lorry there are a number of steps to be completed:

• Check availability by calling 0114 287 5278
• On reserving the date full cost of hire will be required to be paid on a card in the DRIVERS name. No alternative payments can be accepted and is NON REFUNDABLE once booked
• Complete the Lorry Hire Questionnaire (See document below)
• Provide 2 proof of address, must be dated within 90 days of hire date and your name and address should correspond to your driving license. One of these must be a primary source i.e. Bank statement, Electricity, Water/gas bill, etc and the other a secondary proof i.e. Phone bill, student loan, payslip, etc. (See Lorry Hire Proof of Address document below)
• We require back and front of your Driving license - If you only have a paper licence then we will require an additional photo I.D. such as a passport.
• DVLA one time driver check code which can be found on  View or share your driving licence information - GOV.UK  The code must then be given to us at the latest 48hrs before hire and is case sensitive so please be careful when copying or alternatively screen shot us a copy.
• Read and sign the Lorry Hire Agreement (See document below)

We request that all documentation is completed at least 3 days before the hire date in order for the insurance to be processed.

Trailer Hire - £50 per day 7am - 7pm

Longer term hire is available on request at a reduced rate

· The driver must be 21 or over and hold a full UK driving licence.

• Provide 1 proof of address, must be dated within 90 days of hire date and your name and address should correspond to your driving license. One of these must be a primary source i.e. Bank statement, Electricity, Water/gas bill, etc and the other a secondary proof i.e. Phone bill, student loan, payslip, etc. (See Lorry Hire Proof of Address document below)
•  Copy of insurance stating towing a hire trailer is covered 
• We require back and front of your Driving license - If you only have a paper licence then we will require an additional photo I.D. such as a passport.
• DVLA one time driver check code which can be found on the GOV.uk check-driving-information. The code must then be given to us at the latest 48hrs before hire and is case sensitive so please be careful when copying or alternatively screen shot us a copy
